These tips are really simple to follow and yet effective too. The basic rules for effective OOH are:
Keep It Simple
This is the main basic rule. The exposure time for this type of advertisement is 4 to 5 seconds. So keep it short, keep it simple and say it clear. Try to say in minimal words.
Bigger is Better
It will be easier to read and also adds vigor to your message.
Use Readable Fonts
You must chose the font which is easy to read and also can be seen from the distance. Words including both upper and lower case character is most suitable to read rather than every character used is uppercase.
Contrasting Colors
This plays a major role in providing exposure to the campaign. Choose high contrast colors for the campaigns. They also help to see from great distances.
It is important that business owners understand the basics of creating a good advertisement. Creating an effective ad is great, but your advertisements won’t get you far if you aren’t making your customers happy.
